Globalization is an era of developing technology, the impact of technology brings changes in various sectors, especially human behavior in implementing entrepreneurship programs. In this digital era, social media is very influential for UMKM to develop their business, especially during a pandemic like this where everyone is prohibited from leaving the house. With the existence of social media, the community can easily and quickly obtain information so that it is widely used by small UMKM entrepreneurs because of the affordable cost. As did several STKIP PGRI Jombang students who started selling masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students deliberately sell masks in these situations where people consider masks to be one of the basic needs that must be met. The students also began to offer their selling products to various circles of society and were promoted through their personal social media.
For this reason, in this study the author wanted to find out how useful social media was in the mask business run by several STKIP PGRI Jombang students. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. The principle of this research is to explain, critically describe or describe the phenomenon of interaction in a society with the aim of seeking and finding meaning in the real context. This study aims to describe how the Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon that occurred in Indonesia can have an impact on daily life, one of which is the obligation to wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. So that we get the results that the existence of social media as a means of marketing masks is very beneficial for some Universitas PGRI Jombang students who sell masks, especially during the covid-19 pandemic that is spreading
