Sexual Violence Training, School.Abstract
Sexual violence in schools is a serious issue that can threaten the development of students. Low levels of knowledge and understanding are often factors contributing to suboptimal prevention efforts. This community service activity aims to increase students' knowledge about forms of sexual violence. The method used is descriptive approach-based training involving pre-test and post-test calculations to measure knowledge improvement. The results of the activity showed an average increase from 51% in the pre-test to 81% in the post-test for all indicators of participant understanding. These findings indicate that the training provided was effective in increasing the preparedness and literacy of school members regarding the prevention of sexual violence. This community service activity is expected to form the basis for the implementation of a more comprehensive and sustainable prevention programme, so that schools can become safe, protected environments that are free from sexual violence. Conclusion Sexual violence prevention training in schools has been proven to significantly improve pre-test and post-test results related to participants' knowledge.
